Dear Parents/Carers,

We hope this letter finds you well. As we approach the new school year, we want to highlight the importance of regular attendance and punctuality for your child’s education. Consistent attendance is crucial for your child’s academic success and overall development.

To support our students and families, we offer the following:

Free breakfast starting at 9:00 AM

Present: All students who arrive by 9:15 AM to be marked as present.

Late: Any student arriving between 9:16 AM and 10:00 AM will be marked as late. 

Absent: Students arriving after 09:45 AM will be marked as a U Code  and recorded as having missed a session.

In line with the new law from August 19th, 2024, please be aware that accumulating 10 missed sessions within a 10-week period could result in a £160 penalty notice fine per parent.

We understand that there may be situations that make it challenging to ensure your child arrives on time. Our school is committed to supporting you in any way possible. Please reach out to our Parent Engagement Coach and Attendance Manager, who is available to assist with any issues or concerns you may have regarding your child’s attendance.
